Do you read any Cottagecore related or are you looking for more books that are Cottagecore themed or fall under the umbrella of Cottagecore? (Think Witchy, Botanical Horror, Cozy cottagecore, Cotttagegore...etc.)

Whether this is Witchy books, Mushroomcore, Botanical Horror, Fairy Tale Retellings in Fantasy or somewhere in between all of this, I want to see the growth of Cottagecore books and that is why I joined Bindery! You can find me in Chanterelle Solace, where we aim to one day be to publish books by marginalised authors, books with diversity and more! This would aim to focus on books in Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Horror in the Cottagecore sub-genre

We have a few books with diversity in Cottagecore in general but we don’t see it commonly and we all know it is harder for BiPOC authors to advertise and get their work out there to readers, OR even to just get it published in the first place! Cottagecore is essentially frolicking in the forest, forgetting all your responsibilities and living in a cottage (this cottagecore reader wants to live in a mushroom house) and we should all see ourselves in Cottagecore books

I have found a few rare gems that focus on non-western Cottagecore and more related to it in Botanical Horror, Witchy core and more! Let’s aim to read diversely, especially because Cottagecore is a sub-genre that has a lot of folklore in it and we can explore so many different worlds through it!
